“What’s your name anyway?” Shouto almost answers before he realises the question is directed at K. Panic slices through him, they hadn’t thought to give him one but of course they would expect him to have a name-

K visibly blanches.

“Katsuki,” falls out of Shouto’s mouth. If he names K then he can just as quickly take it away.

K was built for two purposes: to obey and to subdue the Rebellion of his own kind. Todoroki Shouto, the son of his creator, was not supposed to be the one to make him question that.
