Summary: When he opens his eyes again, they’re small, seeing in muted tones, and with a lot more clarity than usual.

‘Fuck,’ he tries to say, but not a sound comes from is mouth.

“Katsuki!” Shouto over him, a giant in his eyes, and Katsuki blinks up at him. “You’re awake.”

‘What the fuck happened,’ again, no sound except… There was a meow. He can feel a full on panic attack coming, but the warm hand on his back calms him down.

“You’re a cat,” Shouto explains, and Katsuki groans. It sounds adorable
